Third Year Cabin Fever

Is it the number 21? Is it the many graduations of close friends? Or is it the body’s clock ticking more urgently?

Overnight, a button was switched on, a light was turned on, a brain impulse was sent to look for the significant other! Even though we have two whole years ahead of us, those medics are incestuously dating as if they’re going to miss the train. What happened to the motto “work hard and play harder”? When did it turn to “work hard and settle faster”?

It seems the worst is yet to come, with all of us being stuck together for the 3 month summer holiday everyone else will be enjoying! Oh, joy!

Just let medicine be part of your life, not the opposite. Actually, I don't think medics will do that, they over-think and analyse their steps, not always right decision but rarely rushed ones.

Enjoy the journey, it will span the best years of life and as one of my friend says : if you think about it, Life is SO GOOOD ;)

No, you're right. they may not rush things but they do it logically. i.e. "now we're third years, we're 21, doing medicine, next step is girlfriend/boyfriend" But that's just my observation. There are a number of people who have gotten engaged, which i find very strange. whats the rush?!

This year has been a lot of fun, im enjoying it more and more. How are you getting on?
